Default Weedeater

Fuck yeah! That's what I want to hear. Serious riffing.

Yeah I'm a fan of Weedeater. Not the most innovative music ever, but it's just good solid hard hitting doom like Kyuss, Sahg, Yob, Church of Misery, Orange Goblin etc.

I agree the songwriting leaves a lot be desired but I just love the huge dirty sound. Plain and simple distorted riffs. Easy on the ear.

I've not actually listened to this band yet, but I was going to go see them live tomorrow night because:

a) I like the name
b) A few friends are going
c) They are compared to some bands I like a lot.

But I don't have money

My friend is buying one of their albums at the gig, so I'll grab a loan of that and check it out.

And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that.
