Wow...that really is just Creed with a different singer. O.O...surprisingly it did nothing for me.:\
I hate it when bands change singers, it never works out...at least they had the decency to change the name... I wonder what happened to Stapp...:|

I don't know why I know this I probably just do because it was in the press for awhile. Basically Stapp was/is a douchebag and the band got sicked of it and broke off and formed Altar Bridge and left him to running around singing Creed songs by himself. The singer was in some other band before this, with like Four in their name I think or something about weather I don't really remember. There was also something about Stapp not letting the band have enough control, particularly Tremonti (sp?) he wasn't allowed to do a bunch of solos or some ****.

the main thing that i liked when i heard altar bridge was tremonti's playing. No one would ever know he was as talented as he is, if he was still in creed.

In my opinion Alter Bridge does not come close to Creed. Creed had many catchy well written albums/songs. (Weathered , Human Clay) While Alter Bridge seems to be a much less catchy not as well written copycat.
and plus, Scott Stapp made creed happen.

And that should be sin enough.
AlterBridge should have toured with AudioSlave and it could have been called the "so much potential but no clear vision" tour.

Hahaha thats very true. Audioslave especially, with one of the best singers and guitarists couldn't make to many spectacular songs.

well the singer in alterbridge is damn good. he just has nothing interesting to sing about, or any decent composition to sing. It makes you long for the 50's when talented people were allowed to write ****, and the people who could sing sang.
I'm forever torn on that argument though. Nothings sweeter than one guided brilliant vision, and for a great few we reap amazing rewards from it. But some of the better films were amazing coordination between actors, writers and directors. Art is a mother****er...
