any band need some songs?
i used to write poems and my mate said they were really good and one day i turned my poems into songs so i was lookin for a band that i could give them to so that they might actually become useful instead of just buildin up into a mountain collecting dust. one of my poems was turned into a song and was added to by a film star and now its going to be the theme tune to a music. i dont exactly know when the music is out but hopefully i'll be invited to the opening of it. i wish i had a band but no-one is interested in that at the mo so i will just keep writing.

Can’t give it up….
I tear my skin deep and thick I pierce my own flesh, The wound is long and wide The blood that pours is fresh. I try to listen to the things you say But ignored the advice you gave, Dangerous is what I’ve done now I could end up in an early grave. I used sharp blades, sharp tipped points And many other sharp things, My skin all red and open wide Burns, sore and stings. No matter how hard I try I cannot give it u, A stream of red, my dripping blood Could even fill a cup. I’ll have to try to pull myself together That needs a lot of strength, But this time is to long for me I need a shorter length. I don’t know who to turn to I need to look for help, Really I can’t do this I can’t do this all by myself! I guess if try I can do it If I try hard enough, I cannot just sit here If you help me, I will not give up! pompom xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx |

Right and wrong
Everywhere I go I feel Like everything is wrong, People are always fighting And running from where they belong. People tell me that it’s ok And that it will be alright, Even though people are hurting others All throughout the night. I look at the world we live in Which is no longer safe, It doesn’t matter where you hide There is no hiding place. This world is always changing Everyday is really tough, The streets are no place for children The others who walk them too rough. With a world full of violence What can you say is right? Who will help the needy If you will not tonight? A world full of anger People full of rage, If violence stops here Please re-write this page. pompom xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx |

You have to take rhythm into consideration. Just because the words rhyme doesn't mean you're capable of turning sentences into melody.
Try jotting down ideas and then twisting them into a beat. I've always worked that way, and I doubt it'll ever let anyone else down. Don't stop writing. Am I allowed to post my lyrics somewhere too, or does pompom say nay?
