Mkay. Thanks, Pompom.

Both of these are on a prostitution theme.

*History slips in the lips of the filthy, give and take pennies for morning
Shuteye at sundown and dress up for downtown where pockets don't fill till dawn.

Women are poison and bait lures the boys in, they come up for air with the sun.
Home is a wish on a star for the rich and a story for somebody else

[Take off at sundown] Never take back your denial, your constance, you'll
Never make it back home.
Look down, you put down your patience your arms at a stranger's touch.

Sing for the airbrush and bring in the heroin, passion and love are a lie.
Live for the moment and throw back the poignancy, live fast like June fireflies.*

*Cities in mirrors // scatter silence
Cities in mirrors // shelter streetlights
Cities in mirors // shadow widows
Cities in mirrors // shatter echoes*

Yes, it's short.
I for one would really like to see everyone's writing, too.

it would be really cool to see what people are writing about at the moment as it reflects what they think about and how they see the world or what they've been through.
