I never said you were a woman. That you were not was pretty obvious.

Jalen you sexist!!
So women can't like Punk and the Who?
Women can't express the opinion that the Who were the first hard rock band?
Someone said it not you.
Jalen you sexist. Assuming I wasn't a woman because I liked the Who and Pistols!!
I suppose next you are going to say women don't exactly dominate the world of top 100 Albums or critically aclaimed artists??
I would point you in the direction of a certain spice girls to quell that little opinion. If girl power wasn't the work of 5 music geniuses representing the creme of female talent and the words Bananarama mean nothing to you then you obviously need to educate yourself on the talent of females in pop history and rock.
I'm on form now good squire!

Hold up. What's all this foolish leaping to conclusions?

It was OBVIOUS you are not a woman because your BEHAVIOUR, yes, BEHAVIOUR on these boards, and DEMEANOUR, is completely masculine and characteristic of a male message board user.

I wasn't judging you by your musical tastes at all. And have no problem with "female artists dominating the top 1000 critically acclaimed artists lists" or whatever. What an absurd leap to an even more absurd conclusion.

What an absurd example.
The Spice Girls...geniuses!?
Bananarama???
Your having a laugh mate!

It's you who needs educating.
Any chance of me taking you even remotely serious on these boards has now disappeared completely.
With all the genuine talented female artists out there, you chose to pick the least talented women in the history of music.

The Beatles were inspired by The Beach Boys and not Floyd to raise their game. McCartney has said this many times. Floyd just happened to be recording at the same time at Abbey Road. Rock Music is the blues amplified and distorted. Simple as that. No one can lay claim to being first.

I'm only kidding with you!!
No worries.
But you think I am controversial or silly?
Well look at best oasis song now and see what someone has said about Oasis been nothing after good start.
You see about stirring controversy and you see what I have to say about that.
Then say what you think.
Nothing after first two albums?
How silly can you be??

Double posting is annoying. Quadruple posting is OTT. Merged.

The fact of it all should be that UK Bands, The Who, Beatles, etc. has contributed a major role to the musical industry of today as it is. There is no end to debate's such as this one. All the classic bands, UK & US. Were pioneers within the history of ROCK. Regardless of personal opinions, favorites, etc. Including the best of the best, & the worst of the worst bands period, Peace.
