come come dear boy.
I happen to like the manics and everything must go!

Everything Must Go is an awful radio rock album, as is everything they've released since then. They lost all sense of direction without Richey behind them. Though Generation Terrorists and Gold Against the Soul weren't great either but I think was more because Richey didn't have any musical input on those like he did on The Holy Bible.

They were here and gone in a flash but were bloody brilliant.

Everyone here knows of Bittersweet Symphony... it has been used on a bank ad which is slightly ironic given the lyrics. But I doubt many have heard any other Verve songs.

The best Verve song is Lucky Man.

No it is Sonnet and it shows how you pick their best known tracks to make out you know them by reading it in some music magazine.
It is Sonnet.

Oasis, you can put all of Blur's albums inculding Parklife against (What's the Story) Morning Glory and they don't even come close. And The Stone Roses are great too!

The Verve. Yes, I dont remember the particular song. It must have been a good song because I remember the band.
