the riff's on all day & all of the night and you really got me are to me the birth of heavy rock. the distortion on the guitars is very reminiscent and influential to many of todays metal bands. and i also think the kinks did the whole britpop thing way before the 90s.

the kinks
bought a best of 2 cd thing the other, pretty cool stuff on it. im pretty keen to further my knowledge on this band, so id like to know the names of really great kinks albums, to avoid being dissapointed.- juan
