http://www.gigwise.com/news.asp?contentid=15308 and Courtney sold 25% of the 98% of rights she has to nirvana, and in the article she was talking about how she didn't know what to do with it all and all the work of nirvana she has, just has fallen onto her lap and blah blah blah. She made it seem like she was the rights she had we're forced upon her.

I think he was a musical genius. Really, one of the most influential people in music. When watching a show about him on the Canadian music channel, Muchmusic, they said that Grunge music died when Kurt died, and I thought that showed how important he was to not just the '90's but of all time.

Or how much the media like to spin things out of proportion, either way.
That being said, I love Nirvana and think they did wonders, but still.. To say that..

Well, I dare say all of what I'm about to say will have been said before, but I'm a newcomer so never mind ^^
I liked Kurt Cobain. For his mind and music. BUT I think it was an idiot to kill himself, and unlike some blind Nirvana fans, I will not defend him until the day I die. Because, in my opinion, he could of done so much with his life. If he was tired of the fame, and tired of selling out, which he felt he was, he felt he'd turned into something he never wanted to become, then he should of retired to a private Island with Baby Francais and his terrible Wife (yeesh) I've got all of the albums, worn them out, and can play two of his songs on the Guitar. I am a Nirvana fan. Somehow ... saying it feels rather embarrassing as there are so many o.O anyway, my fave' songs are none of the listed above. These are them ... - Francais Farmer Will Have Her Revenge On Seattle - Very Ape - Breed - Heart Shaped Box
