I have a lot of favourite musicians but very few I would dub geniuses... off the top of my head I can think of Frank Zappa... erm... George Clinton? In a really crazy way. A lot of them did some really cool crazy stuff in the beginning but then kind of went downhill (Iggy, Lou Reed).

Virtualy no musician deserves the geniuse label basically every musician copies one another but adds their own little twist to try to out do another. It's not rocket science or math problems just trying to out do the competition.

No it's fact every musician copies one another the only difference is they add their own little twist. If you consider grunge commercial you are highly mistaken any band besides the big 5 grunge bands no other went commercial.
