Ok so this might offend some Nirvana fans here but my media player was on shuffle and it went straight from Smells Like Teen Spirit to Come As You Are, and it IMO the solos from those songs are almost identical? Any opinions on this?

I wasnt a big Nirvana fan when they were popular..actually I really didnt care for them...Smells Like Teen Spirit was hyped..but in the last few years I have found myself more and more into them..maybe its because the genre they come from is my favorite..and since they helped bring "grunge" rock mainstream I give them much credit and can appreciate their stuff...

Theyre one of my all-time favorites. But they have obtained sort of a cult following, many people blindly say "theyre my favvvve" and they havent heard anything but smells like teen spirit. Such blind ignorance is most likely what is causing the hatred. Id say that Nevermind is one of my top 5 or 10 albums of all time.

Nirvana is one of my favorite bands. The Combination of the bass and guitar in their earlier stuff(Blew, Love Buzz) was what drew me in but after listening to a lot of their stuff I appreciate their more raw songs (Incecticide album).
Personally I'm fine with Nirvana kids as long as they have listened to more then the Nevermind album. |
