Psshhh... ****ing pitchfork and their hippness. Hey man, they gave the "Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space" reissue a 10/10 only because it is a classic. If you've looked at their other reviews on Spiritualized albums you'll see how they bitch and moan about how they've heard all this 60's **** before. I ****ing wanted to bitch slap the dumb mother****ers... I'm sick of them changing up their opinions about bands all the time despite how good the material is.

I saw that too, laughed when I saw it.
Mostly because their initial review of the album constituted a grotesque narration of post-adolescent social ineptitude. It was some kid was muttering on and on about how people at parties don't appreciate good music. No sh it, really?
Yeah, the review seems kinda gratuitous, but I'm not going to begrudge people for enjoying bands like Spiritualized and Galaxie 500 just because Pitchfork told them to. Maybe they'll reissue The Perfect Prescription soon, get people to steer clear of this sh itgaze nonsense.
