Check out Pacific UV, y'all : P. Their 1st (self titled album) is VERY Slowdive-ish.

Find 'em on myspace and dig the song 'static waves'.

'If so' is amazing too...

Damn man, I really want to go to one of their shows. I'm hoping that they will come back to the US after they release their new album... which is taking forever by the way.

Lastfm has been recommending this band to me for months... I'll give it a shot, but I don't want to trouble you about getting the link. I'll probably look around on shoegazeralive or something, the dude has a massive roster of shoegaze artists and it's probably the best blog since Stereogum.

I've been listening to The Nightblooms S/T a lot recently. The Dutch have never sounded this good.

Nightblooms! Their self titled was such a good album (though I'm not so sure about calling it shoegaze) it's a shame that 24 Days... was certainly a turn for the worse. Not much like their debut.

I literally can't believe that I have never even heard of this band. I must have suffered a serious head injury in 1990. Holy shit

I'm suprised to say that I have never heard of The Nightblooms, I'll have to check them out right now.

I don't think anyone has mentioned Medicine in this thread either. "The Pink" will melt your ****ing eardrums.
