I like this version of Bad Company, off the album, war is the answer- Five Finger Death Punch -Bad Company. This is my favorite five finger death punch, the bleeding, off the album, the way of the fist.- - Five Finger Death Punch - The Bleeding. Stranger Than Fiction is OK.-

I've only recently listened to them very much but I have to agree with those saying they're awful. I was laughing earlier today at some of their lyrics, actually. Here's a fun excerpt:

Quote:
"(Get some!)
You wanna disrespect me, you little ****in' punk?
Everything I've done?, And who I am? As far as I've ****in' come?
I'll slap you so ****in' hard, It'll feel like you kissed a freight train.
**** you!"
Like crash override said earlier, this is nothing even remotely new or original.

5. "Menace"
6. "Generation Dead"
7. "Back for More"
8. "Remember Everything"
9. "Wicked Ways"
10. "If I Fall"
11. "100 Ways to Hate"

Disc Two

Zoltán Báthory is a Hungarian-born musician. He is the co-founder, and one of the main songwriters for the Los Angeles-based hard rock band Five Finger Death Punch.

Zoltán Báthory is a guitarist to "Keep an eye on".

The drummers constant double kicking (personally) gets a little repetitious at times.

I like "Back For More" and "Wicked Ways", "American Capitalist" is OK.

I love these guys, although I admit I have yet to hear their newest release. When I get some extra cash, I plan on picking this up, along with a few others.

Really not a fan of these guys. I guess Under and over it is addressed at me.

Apparently it's about how they don't care who likes their music, cuz they're makin it. Or something.

Did ya hear about this song that I wrote in ten minutes
Did ya hear about it? Nah! It sucks good riddance.
Did ya hear about me givin a ****
Did ya hear about me scratchin my balls and my pits?

I don't know the words really but sadly this is about right ^

Ah.. Yes! Since you've mentioned it Mrd00d, this particular single was written and addressed to you personally.

To be honest, I never personally payed that much attention to the lyrics to actually get the meaning of the song. I guess that may be a bad habit I have listening to certain rock/metal bands. Other than these two lines below:

"Did you hear the one about me losing my nerve"
"Or how I'm just another fucking sheep in the herd"

I actually listen to FFDP because of Zoltán Báthory, the guitar player.

Zoltán is known for his heavy string gauge of .13 to .64 made by Dunlop.
(Wow..that makes my finger tips hurt! Just thinking about using that string gauge).

In his private life Zoltán is a Martial Artist Judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner often appearing in Martial Art Magazines. He is affiliated with Professor Don Charley and Professor Amilcar Cipili of the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu lineage and possibly studies under Royler Gracie and Royce Gracie. According to the band's Facebook Page Zoltán won the silver medal at the Abu-Dhabi Pro Jiu-Jitsu World Trials in his division. He is also a co-owner of Alphadog Combat Gear, a high end Fight Gear Manufacturer working closely with star Athletes, UFC fighters and MMA Fight Leagues.

Bro! I'm telling you..Zoltán is one hell of a guitarist. To be honest, I'm looking forward to his next project away from FFDP.

I don't have high speed internet yet, mine is slow as hell..or I would be listening to all the bands, already suggested in all of the metal forums.

I know I'm missing out on a lot of kick ass bands.

Who is some of your favorite (modern) metal guitarist?
