I bought The Number of the Beast from Iron Maiden when I was around 13. The cover scared the crap out of me, in fact it still does. However I have grown to embrace the Beast rather than fight against it

Disturbed was the band that got me into metal, even though none of you will think they are the ideal metal band.

My first taste of extreme metal, I guess, would be Dimmu Borgir.

oh man, the first metal band i ever listened to was, uh, i think lamb of god.
that or olllddd cradle of filth, i cant remember what came first
its like the chicken or the egg, you know. its hard to decide
