yes impressive feat, but it makes more sense now why it sounded the way it did. i have been listening to them since this first post and it seems a lot of their songs repeat the same lines. something about coldsores and cream, i dunno kind of weird. but would you happen to know what the song 'anna' is all about? cuz it really reminds of aneroxia.

I have good memories for the 90's in terms of underground metal, it was when technical/progressive death metal started:
Atheist Cynic Death Cryptopsy Gorguts Martyr (only first album though) Nocturnus Also the birth of Melodic Death Metal: In Flames Dark Tranquillity At the Gates others too but I'm too lazy to think of them at the moment On the progressive side of things there's also: Dream Theater Symphony X Gordian Knot (more rock than metal) Liquid Tension Experiment These were also Pantera's prime years. Hope this helps. |

Listen to some Oomph!, pure 90's German metal. 'Gekreuzigt', 'Ice Coffin', 'Unsere Rettung' and 'Mein Schatz' are a few of thier best songs. They are way better than Rammstein if that's what your thinking.
