there are two areas...creative (good inovative beats) > technical (insanely fast and coordinated)....the only drummers around that have the absolute best of both are metal drummers...u put the drummer for evenescence (f'in JOKE) next the drummer for Cryptopsy....its is a waste of Flo's time

uuuumm.. I don't know. I don't have a fav drummer, but what I can say is that the more we can hear the drummer and the more the drum beat is fast, that's how I like it. One of my friend drummer really bangs on them, which is really cool

your right, lol. I completely forgot. The two drummers are different guys. I don't know about a Bury your Dead but he (the drummer off the self-titled cd) is now in a band were he plays all the instruments and sings. Its supposed to be really soft though quite unlike BTBAM. Paul, triggered drumming is putting computer connected sensors on drum heads and each time you hit a head its recorded and saved on a computer. this way you can play with the sound alot more. As I Lay Dying does it aw well. I don't like triggered sounds because it doesn't feel as natural. It works in some songs but the vast majority would be better off without triggered drums

I'd have to say that Travis from Blink is quite amazing... I don't necessarily like blink, but you have to admit Travis has mad technical skills and is a large reason for blink's success.
Mark Gajadhar from Blood Brothers can also drum like hell. |
