Oh and to be ontopic I guess that Zach De La Rocha is a fairly good lyricist, he can get his point across and use the same line more than ten times in a song.

You should have the name "Crusher666", that would earn you some respect.

Aaron Lewis writing deep lyrics? Its pathetic whiny and generic. If you're going to make a post praising a mediocre artist expect a negative reply.

sorry i didn't know that user names were used to judge people. and to both of you that don't seem to like my name i guess ill give the back ground info on it, since Hoss is a nick name that was given to me by my older brother and diggity was later added on by friends. i dunno it has just stuck and it has meaning and i personally think iit is dumb to put in a name like "bandname"isgod or mudslayer or something of the sort that really means nothing to me. and yes i agree it was petty of me to attack your name moses, lets call it truce, but if you think what i listen to is **** thats fine, but if you didnt read my last statement that there are way too many people to name, because in fact i listen to all kinds of music, we probably like several of the same bands but whatever i am done

Zach isn't too good. I love RATM but his lyrics don't strike me as awesome, although he does have perfect pronounciation of every word. But yeah most of his lyrics were just straight foward, Kurt wasn't too good either.

Well, RATM was always a political band. It's hard to have really have deep, metaphorical lyrics when most of your songs are political rants. Some of Zach's lyrics were pretty clever, and a lot of RATM songs had really catchy choruses that still made good points.

A lot of Kurt's lyrics were just stoned nonsense, but that's kinda what I like about them. They don't make a lot of sense, so they're pretty wide open to interpretation and they're easy to mold into something that you can relate to.

I thought some of his lyrics were really good. Songs like Know Your Enemy have some great bits in them.
