I actually have less downtime than I did in Europe, trying to juggle a real world job with girl issues and being of legal drinking age haha. But my library has gotten kinda stale so I need a new batch of music so what better place to start than MB!?
And I miss youuuuu too, Jany...

I've been really digging their older tracks like Bunker Hill and Body of Water lately, which I kind of just discovered. Which is a fantastic feeling. Also, I love Walkabout.

I had already been aware of "Sika-mika-nico? Sika-Mika-Nico!" by at least a decade, but yea, these ones just popped out at me.
I think when I originally got into RHCP I grabbed singles off Napster or whatever and then when I went to get them on my new computer I grabbed the discography. I had been pretty sure I was well versed in all their works, but lo and behold, surprise awesome songs from way back when. |

Soul to Squeeze is unlike their other radio singles like Under the Bridge, Californication, Snow. It's a beautiful song. It really stands the test of time and I always thought it an injustice for a Chili Peppers fan to not know of that song, as many didn't/don't. Perfect tune. Not my favorite, but very underrated in my opinion.

I'm not making it up brotha. People are ignorant. There are tons of proclaimed fans (I've met in real life, whether from school, work, etc.) that don't know it but would cite "By the Way" as best, or "Scar Tissue", or "Give it Away", and nowadays "Snow". These are posers, mostly, yea, but nevertheless.
