I love RHCP, i find that they're one of those bands that you can listen to at any time where as other bands you have to be in a certain mood to want to listen to them.

The only thing i disliked about the chillis is stadium arcadium, it had some awesome songs but it seemed like for every great song there was 5 average (or below average) songs.

Honestly i think even if it isn't your kind of music you have to respect a band that can go on for so long and still be making number 1 hits and appealing to the masses without selling out and losing their uniqueness.

I avoided Stadium Arcadium... it just didn't seem to have anything that dragged me in.

When it comes down to it, none of them are insane virtuosos on their own. They're a great band because of the vibe they have together.

And they're not so good when they're vibe seems to be missing.... which in more recent years seems to be happening more often....

Same here. There are a few good tracks but as a double album it's not really as good as the other stuff.

I think they are pretty overrated. They have some good songs, but I think that they fell short. I would take Faith No More any day over RHCP.

Oh yeah, favorite song would have to be Californication.
