it's not that i don't think flea will do a good job, but i remember reading an interview with claypool back in the day and he pretty much attributed the creation of primus to metallica. the band didn't turn him down when he auditioned for them after burton died. they encouraged him to start his own thing. he was just too much for them haha.

then again claypool probably thinks the r&r hof is a crock hahaha

I only like a few of there songs but I gota say that there song Snow is my fave. the guitar part is really kool.

Hmmm....Parallel Universe or Snow. They're several shades of talented. Funky, melodic, and catchy. Just what rock oughtta be if you ask me.

I have to say that I am not a big fan of there modern stuff. I really like there earlier stuff like backwoods and all.

Yeah, gotta go with the previous post... their later stuff just seems so much weaker than their later material... Everything they did up to and including Californication was awesome... but since then.... mmmm, kinda patchy...
