They had some truly great stuff in the 90's as well as patchy good stuff from the 00's, and they were great in the eighties too... gotta say I've cooled towards them significantly in recent times, they just aren't lighting up that musical part of the brain that all my favorite artists do.... no fault of theirs, just maybe my changing tastes, most likely!

I'm a fan. Their albums from the nineties and up through By The Way are all top notch in my book. I really like Stadium Arcadium as well but found myself getting a little bored by the end of the second disc. Definitely some great tracks though.
I like the style and influence that the musicians bring. I never hear two songs by them that sound the same. Flea and John are both fantastic. Kiedis is so unique. I can't decide if I think his lyrics are pure genius or just the ramblings of a mad man. Either way I can't get enough. I wish I would have seen them in concert in the early nineties!

I love the red hot chili, for me flee is the bass player to be all bass players. Blood sugar sex magik is by far my favorite album. I love stadium arcadium, but for me it's just a little too loud. I think it could have been mastered better. I've read online that your better off to listen to it on vinyl. because of the ongoing loudness wars the cd is a bit squashed in my opinion.

Red Hot Chili Peppers are most probably my all time favourite band, i can remember being blown away seeing them live at Nottingham Rock City in 1990 when i was only 18! and have been a massive fan since. I think there progression has been fantastic and i can find a album of there's to enjoy whatever mood i am in. As for favourite tracks thats a tough one but overall it would have to be either Otherside or If you want me to stay.

Nah, I gotta give the "their best song by the band" crown to "Under the Bridge mby a long shot. It may be one of their most re cognizeable, commercial tunes, but boy is it a solid, good song!

I completely disagree and I'd actually say it's among the worst songs they had done up to that point, but to each his own.

As for my favorite, I'd probably go with "Johnny, Kick a Hole in the Sky".
