I used to be a huge 'Deth fan, but as time goes on, I continue to lose interest in them. "SFSGSW", "Rust In Peace", and "Countdown to Extinction" is the trio I really only continue to listen to...

Dave Mustaine is a GOD.

Listen to his guitar playing and you will know why, he's also the vocalist and the lyricist of the band!

Mustaine is a god because of many things.

Apart from being an awesome rhythm guitarist and songwriter who can also do lead duties, he's badass. He absolutely owned some guy at a concert who was pointing a laser at him - I have the sound recording.

Also, despite the fact he's no Bruce D1ckinson or Mercury, he has a lot of good healthy thrash anger in his voice.

Yeah, I realize this. James Hetfield is the lead singer and a talented guitarist for Metallica, wouldn't this make him a god?

Or Robert Flynn of Machine Head?

Or Alexi Laiho of Children Of Bodom? Alexi is a hell of a better guitar player than Dave. I don't hate Dave, I just don't see what makes him a 'god' over other talented musicians.
