NEVER HEARD OF THEM MYSELF.......

The only band you listed that I like is Protest the Hero. I don't even know how it got on there.
try: Between the Buried and Me 7 Angels, 7 Plagues Misery Signals Dillinger Escape Plan HORSE the Band The Number Twelve Looks Like You Comeback Kid The Bled Job for a Cowboy and I second Everytime I Die (haven't heard the new album yet) that should get you going in the right direction.

You can never go wrong with a little Motorhead in your life!
As for "Metalcore" (not too good with genres, so I THINK these bands would fall in there): Disturbed Godsmack Flyleaf Stone Sour A Perfect Circle Lacuna Coil Brian
