ok, I acutally HATE screamo (and yes, you have told me enough, snickers, that the used isnt real screamo, I know) and I really don't like any of those bands and how they all sound exactly the same, but I've seen the used twice in concert, my chemical once, and then of course I've seen taking back sunday and hawthorn heights. the used and my chemical, I thought were really actually GOOD live, considering I don't really even like that music that much. And then hawthorne heights and taking back sunday sucked **** like it was their job, and it probably is...

I am not a major fan of their music, but I have seen they're music video that was a complete rip off of clockwork orange and any Tim Burton Movie...I guess they were trying to show us that the old man really was the boy all along, and whatever the meaning of meeting all the band members was about I still dunno....
They got some more work to do before they stand out for me....

The Used is emo , their not emo punk. Emo has nothing to do with Punk. Punk Rock is Volume and Anger. and Emo bands is nothing but sad songs, breaking up with relation ships and how to do love. Emo is short for emotional. When emo first started they tried to bring happyness, sadness, and emotions through punk and it was impossible because like i said punk is anger and volume. SO you might ask what was that new music type that all punks hate. It's called emo yes you go to The Used or God Charlotte concert, or green day your gona see tons of hot chicks. I am just here to clear this up, emo has nothing to do with punk, emo is a rip off of punk, Emo is neither a sub-genre of punk. Emo has nothing to do neither with the Punk scene, and if you go to a punk show saying that green day and blink 182 are punk you are going to get your ass kicked guaranteed. Ok and for the punk shows this goes for emo too, emo kids get their ass kicked by punks or in punk shows because emo is everything agaisnt punk.

Ok I mi ght as well let you know this, Green Day, Offspring, Good Charlotte, Blink 182, AFI, THe Doors, are not punk they are not punk I repeat, They are Pop Rock. Those bands call themselves Punk Pop because they think that a little rithm makes them punk. THe music industry gave those bands the "Punk Label" to try and sale rebellion to little kids in a nice little package.

If you really wan't to hear real Punk music than hear these bands, after you hear them yes you can go and tell your little Friends who like Blink 182 that you heard actual real Punk Rock.

The fact that you'd put Anti Flag next to the UK Subs or the queer ass Distillers next to TSOL makes me think you're just shouting out names of bands you've collected over the web. I am not a F!AG and neither do you have anything to prove taht I am one. It doesn't matter in what order I put Distillers next to TSOL or Anti Flag, I was just naming bands that are PUNK. No you M!ORON, I don't go to itnernet sites and search for punk bands and just copy and paste, I own their cds , posters, patches, and I also go their gigs. I am not here to say THe Used SUck. I am just here to agree that the used is labeled wrong, they are labeled punk they are not punk. I don't care if you like the used or not but I am just here to tell you that if you wan't to know the True label of The used, is that they are emo emo emo, they are emo. I am also here to say that its wrong to have emo and the used in the punk section of this forum.
