Alter Bridge (tickets, metal, debut album, single, album)

Hi

Just wanted to know what you think of Alter Bridge?

I am a huge fan, and i'm very happy with their debut album "One Day Remains" and can i just say MYLES KENNEDY RULES!!

Has anyone heard the album and what do you think?

hmmm they still sound like creed and that is not good

Of course it sounds like Creed, and why shouldn't it?
Creeds songwriter was Tremonti, and now he's in a new band where he's in charge of the songwriting again.
He was doing what he loved but being ordered by dictator like Stapp, he decides to take his creation elsewhere.
It makes perfect sense.
Why should he change teh creation that makes him happy?

damn ****in right man! Tremonti i think is underrated. he should get more recognition for what he does man. i saw them live one time and it was one of the best shows i've ever been to. even the light show was great. Miles' voice was absolutely amazing and strong. Tremonti has a guitar solo session with the focus solely on him. this was the first time i heard him really throw down on the guitar besides the album and it was INSANE!!! he's def. one of the better guitarists out there. Alterbridge are the ****, but i haven't gotten around to getting the new album yet...

Well Creed was terrible. I'll check into more Alter Bridge to see if I like it but so far, nothing all that great

Not all of Alter Bridge songs sound like Creed, if u listen to the whole album "One Day Remains" then there is no way in hell you can say they sound like Creed, there are 2 songs that sound like Creed, Open Your Eyes because they wanted to release something that caught everyones attention and Broken Wings because it was a song Mark wrote while in Creed. But if you listen to songs like Metalingus, Burn it Down and Watch your Words then it aint anything like Creed.
