I voted Ephel Duath cause i really like The Painter Pallette... though i would certainly say Kayo Dot, Kongh, Fall of Efrafa or Amenra

Yes it's old man time again, but CELTIC FROST-INTO THE PANDEMONIUM is generally classed as the first Avant Garde metal album. Touching on electronica, classical and world music. This album was'nt well recieved on release, as CF were one of the early fore runners in thrash and euro death metal. Nevertheless I have always loved this album, and cannot stress how radical this was when it was released.
