Songs about Jane was a good album.
Not terrible, but not amazingly fantastic at the same time.

The new album isn't all that great.
It's like they put it out because royalties from Songs about Jane dried up or something.
The best song on the album would have to be the new single...I forget what it's called.

All in all, I find them mediocre and somewhat unoriginal.

I havent heard the new single. The last album was quite good though, but I cant for the life off me remember any songs from it off the top of my head, which means they are probably quite forgettable.

*goes off to dig out the album*

Let's see, bad electronica mixed with mainstream pop...Not really my thing but whatever. By the way Nothing Lasts Forever and I Won't Go Home Without You are way better than Makes Me Wonder.

Didn't Adam Levine still John Mayer's girlfriend. The new single is okay, if you like pop with a vague political message.

What vague political message?
Do you mean the "Don't believe in you anymore" line?

I was speaking largely in jest, but I heard Adam Levine say it was inspired by the government in a post-911 world. I laughed when I heard that.

That's pretty ridiculous, lol. I can sort of see it though.

I didn't like Songs About Jane much, only the singles.

She Will Be Loved got truly annoying though. I still get Harder to Breathe and This love in my head, though.
