Christ, no one's mentioned Maudlin Of The Well, but I've seen Kayo Dot come up consistently. They're basically the catalyst for KD, with a little more vivaciousness and well, volume. My Fruit Psychobells is an amazing album.

Totally. Girl with a watering can is one of the most amazing songs ever. I actually prefer them to kayo.

I really need to listen to more Maudlin... they havent grabbed me like Kayo Dot did, but i do have the albums somewhere.

Anyone heard Tartar Lamb? Toby and Mia again... the self-released CD is well worth getting (SD stock it for you british people!)

Tartar Lamb is actually really impressive. It's not as heavy as the other 2.

I have just gave the MARE ep a spin...Hhhmmmm. I think the whole POST ROCK genre is a pretty expansive genre. Don't get me wrong, I like what I heard, but I was expecting something a bit more ambient. I am new to this whole genre, but I know I'm going to have fun (and maybe some arguments too lol).

AMENRA people... download 'Mass III' from the emo/screamo sharing thread.

Absolutely amazing album crossing sludgy screamo with post-metal.

Then go buy it on 2xLP before it sells out
