Well, its really a lot different than most songs on Manip. Has somewhat of a Ghostship feel..although still a lot different. I'd say its most definitely worth your time.

yea i agree with you cocaine, after manipulator came out, I kind of lost interest in them, I used to be a fall of tray fanatic heh but they kind of got old for me. That battleships vid was better than I was anticipating as well. The only thing I really want to see from the Fall of Troy is a finished product of The Ghostship Demos. It kind of pisses me off that it seems theyve pretty much ditched that idea and have instead just been using parts of those songs in newer songs that arent as good imo.

and now i can't find it anywhere to replace it.

They're not doing that at all...Phantom on the Horizon has been planned to be recorded for a long time and Thomas has said it will come out after the release of the 2 EPs...so be patient. They've been touring non stop, and don't necessarily have time.

oh ok cool, it seems like they just keep pushing it farther and farther back so I figured since ghost ship VI? was featured on manipulator that they were going to just start releasing all of the songs separately.

yea, Ghostship VI aka Semi Fiction was put on Manipulator because they said they didnt feel it went with the flow of the other Ghostships as well..and I am insanely excited for whenever they do release Phantom.

While I don't like Manipulator I was expecting it as soon as Doppleganger came out. The Fall of Troy aren't the kind of band to recycle the same album over and over and yeah they're straying from their hardcore roots but oh well, personally I wouldn't want to hear self-titled over and over even if it is my favorite. The album is different but its just a progression on the differences between Doppleganger and self-titled. Excreations and Seattlantis are still sick.
