The Fall Of Troy
ftw.

I'll be attending their
show at the Riviera on June 15.
Manipulator is alright, but it isn't
anything compared to doppelganger.

I was going to see these guys this summer until they decided not to do the Warped Tour. Now I probably won't go at all, since the only bands I would really want to see would be Bad Religion and Big D and the Kids Table. That hardly justifies the 4 and half hour drive to Salt Lake (one way). And the only other band I would even want to see at all would be Tiger Army, but they aren't that great.

Default The Fall of Troy

Anyone heard of The Fall of Troy? They're a sick three peice band and they have that feel--very quick, non-linear. They just released their new album "Manipulator" which is a bit slower and more compliant with the classic verse/chorus style assiciated with rock. There's alot more classic influences, and even some blues influences.

they SHRED. Basically what makes this band stand out is the sheer speed and technicallity of their musicianship. If you're into this type of music, you'll be blown away by the band. Dont listen to semi-fiction, its not a good example of what this band is about; which is shredding and tearing faces off. Check em out

Edit: I'm dumb

They've been progressively getting slower and slower with each release.

Yeh, i dont see it as a bad thing though. Like you said, progressively getting slower on each album. They're also getting cleaner, and less repetitious (In their old cds they repeated alot of sounds in different songs).

I heard all of Manipulator last night, and there were songs that I just couldn't stand, that Cut Down the whatever songs was absolutely dull and so were a couple of others.
