help finding band
I read somewhere, either in this forum or another, about some band based in seattle...
all I can remember is that all the members are real young, like under 22 or something, and the music is insanely complex. I listened to some samples on the itunes store, but now I can't remember what they were called. I think they were in the same vein as the Mars Volta, and things like that. Any help would be appreciated, as I was contemplating purchasing the album, if I could find it again. |

No it doesn't, they're a perfectly solid group of musicians. The drumming does exactly what its supposed to with them, and I don't see how you could listen to whacko jacko or fcpremix and say its terrible drumming. It seems like you can't bash the guitaring but you were looking for something to attack so you went for the drums. They have a good drummer.

I was just comparing it to the greatest drumming ever recorded, that of Jon Theodore of Volta...compared to that, it seemed very unimaginative and dry. Seeing as how the guitar work is fairly progressive, I thought the drumming was fairly unsuited....
