Did you even read my post? Green Day isn't even mentioned. I said "More is almost always less". I would make the same comment about any band planning on releasing a shitload of music. Because they don't edit it well enough and you're left with a bunch of garbage.

I wasn't big on the songs I've heard from American Idiot... But I am a fan of concept albums, and punk bands have been known to pull it off in the past.... Husker Du's Zen Arcade and Mike Watts Contemplating the Engine Room for example. I also recently downloaded Penis Envy by Crass, I'm pretty into it.

well i am just saying green day knows what they're doing... and yeah i read what you said but thats not the point my point is that green day is a pretty honest and realistic band and they could probably pull off any thing.....(well almost anything...music wise)
