people are calling this the best metal album of the year, and have been since it came out a month or so ago... it gets a lot of play on sirius too. i used to like these guys a lot and i guess im just being unfair but i cant imagine the album is _that_ good - is it up to par with burn my eyes, and their older stuff?

ive never liked machine head and i dont really like much metal, but this album is like metal perfection.. surprisingly good.

Yeah definitely get's better with each listen, but would have loved a better snare sound. Why do so many metal bands concentrate on guitar sound and then give you a biscuit tin snare. The music loses so much power that way.
