Have you heard much of the older stuff? If you are baseing that on "beds are burning" , "Power and the passion" etc sorry but you opinion is unfounded, its a bit like writting off metallica because you don't like sandman or writting off pink floyd because you don't like "Another brick".

The Oils started basically as a surf punk band in the same vein as Radio Birdman or the Celibrate Rifles. Except they had a lot more depth than any other band in the scene.

pft no need to be a smart arse dude, I mean no offense to you, all I am saying is that you can't call Nick Cave the best Aussie rock band ever, it just doesn't make sence.
