Clap your hands and say Yeah?
Are you kidding me? And how about rather than implications we just take it as a question, which is what it is.

The point was you jumped to a conclusion and put words in my mouth.
CYHASY is less original than Wolfmother.

I don't know them well enough to comment.
Anyways, I think Wolfmother is rock as rock should be. I'll take their unoriginality over: Creed's, 3 doors down, Lifehouse, and Everclear

I wouldn't really consider Circle Takes The Square original, if you listen to any screamo bands before them (which theres alot) its really not that different. Though (imo) they do it way better. The Blood Brothers however put a new twist on it and are very original.
I'm listening to this band now, its pretty decent. I may check out some more stuff. It kind of reminds me of some of the white stripes stuff (at least the song i'm listening to now does). |

I was going to put Blood Brothers.
I think CTTS have basically polished up the sound, even if it is only that they have means to record it better. And actually, I would disagree with them not being original. CTTS have lengthy songs, sometimes really incorporating a post-rock-ish sound. In fact, A Crater to Cough In could very easily be an Explosions in the Sky song if the vocals were left out. |
