I think if Christian bands really want to get people to appreciate them, then they should create their own genre and stop ripping people off. Also, any TRUE music listener would not care whether they were talking about Christ or not and instead they would care about the content of the music.
I actually agree wirth most of that.

For me it's a matter of personal bias, I've spent a good deal of my life with Baptists, Evangelicals and Penticostals. So you can say that my negative opinions on Christianity are influenced by that.

Some Baptists can especially be pretty obnoxious, they dictated me over everything, my appearance, my sense of humor, my taste in music, my political points of view, etc. I eventually stopped going to Church, I came to the conclusion that if there is a god, he wouldn't be so cruel as in to make it a obligation for me to spend such a great deal of my time with assh*les who use the word of god to promote ignorance.

I know there are good christians, but so so so sooooooooo many people who call themselves Christian are such douchebags.
