Yeah, you're right, and I do accept that. I'm open to the possibility that nothing really exists, or that everything isn't quite how we see it or think it is, but I kind of just have to go through each day as if everything does exist. Otherwise I'd be laying around on the floor shitting and pissing myself until I die.

That is a very unproductive way to look at reality.

How is that unproductive?

Some might say replying to a post of a member that hasn't logged on in 7 months could be considered unproductive

I suggest Van Halen or Red Hot Chili Peppers... although i dont know what kind of rock your looking for.. but those are good for a led zeppelin fan

most rock music is based off of drugs, sex, or satan and is kind of hard to find anything else

I don't know how hard of music you like or what not, this stuff isn't going to be led zepelin type, but it's all none satanic.

Becoming the Archetype, Demon Hunter, Haste The Day, Skillet, Project 86, Blindside, Mortal Treason, All But Screaming, Anberlin, Relient K, Chevelle, Creed, Dead poetic.

In there, there is every thing from nothing but singing, to nothing but screaming. I'm a metal head, so that's what i like, if you are into the softer stuff, then i would def. check out All But Screaming, Anberlin, Relient K, Creed and Skillet.

hope i helped

but anywho, I started listening to some Led Zeppelin and similar bands through Pandora (which i'm assuming most people here are pretty familiar with). But then while looking into the history of Led Zep while bored, i learned of their ties to satanic figures, and the alleged satanic references in "Stairway to Heaven" (as well as the claims about it being played backward). from then on i had a hard time finding bands who didn't have some sort of satanic reference or ties, like Black Sabbath or Iron Maiden. I mean the songs Pandora played didn't seem to solicit any satanic beliefs, and i admit, before i looked to see who the song was by i was thinking to myself that i kinda liked the song, but i just can't reconcile listening to bands that are about that.

I'm sure someone else here has faced a similar dilemma. I like Led Zep's sound, but i could do without the satanic undertones. any resources that could help me figure out which bands to steer clear of?

How on earth does any of it 'glorify' Satan exactly, you seem to have summarized everything that makes any reference to Satan as glorification. o.0

edit: after realizing my post was on page 18 I'm guessing I'm a little behind with this.

RighteousBrian 11-21-2007 08:38 AM

You seriously don't listen to good music because it "refers" to satan? That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

Urban Hat€monger ? 11-21-2007 10:54 AM

Why are people still recommending music to someone who's not been here in over 7 months?
