Default Dog Fashion Disco

anyone here into Dog Fashion Disco?
They're a very bizarre metal band, adding elements of jazz, film-noir, jazz, circus music, etc.
Alot of their songs, regardless how dark and heavy, use a church organ instead of a piano/keyboard.

If anyone's heard them.
Tell me what you think

And do you know any similar bands to them?

'committed to a bright future' is my favourite album of theirs, it has some awesome songs on it.
guess mr.bungle are similiar but the mr. bungle stuff i've heard wasn't as catchy as DFD.

I just read this on theprp.com
"Polkadot Cadaver, the new group featuring former members of Dog Fashion Disco, have posted their new track "Chloraform Girl" online here (www.myspace.com/polkadotcadaver)"

Thought I would resurrect this thread for an awesome, awesome band. It's hard to pick out my favorite album, most of them are so good. The lead singer feels that Adultery will turn out to be a cult album at a later time. We can make it happen.

Todd Smith has a new project now, but I haven't heard any of its music.

I downloaded a couple of songs by them. Not really a fan of their sound. Maybe I have the wrong songs. I might get my hands on an album soon.
