Obviously. I've listened to their discography and The Embryo's In Bloom is my favorite. But all of them are good, so good.

I hadn't heard too much about this band but an old friend recommended them to me over the holidays (and El Creepo). I just got through sampling most of their albums on Amazon and they definitely sound very much like their influences, but I'm willing to go for it. I'm a longtime Patton fan but by all accounts I've read, these guys pull off the sound very well without sounding like rip-offs. I mean, they do sound like rip-offs but they supposedly have talent and do it well. So I'm downloading Adultery.

The first time I had ever head of these guys, I saw them open for System of a Down in 2001 or 2002. And they were ****in' great live. Weird as shit, but great all the same. I didn't really get into them until I was 18 when I bought Anarchists of Good Taste. Great album. And Adultery was highly anticipated when I heard it was coming out. And I wasn't disappointed when it dropped. And then they toured one more time and broke up. Balls.
I didn't really think of them much again until my friend Dan was over at my house with his Ipod, and he had Adultery and Committed to a Bright Future on it. I had since lost my copy of Adultery, I got them both from him. I listened to Adultery on the way home from our show on Saturday, and it brought a lot of nostalgia. |
I recently got Adultery the other week and I was really enjoying it. I think my favourite song on it was "Private Eye" just because I have a thing for that Noir sound. Anarchists Of Good Taste is my next stop on these guys, but I'm kind of taking a bit of a break from downloading for a week or two and absorb all the stuff I got over the last month.

I am enjoying this album. |
Hate to rain on your parade, but that's not Mike Patton. I was just having this conversation with my little brother yesterday.
This was their final line-up. * Todd Smith - vocals * Jasan Stepp - guitars * Brian "Wendy" White - bass guitar * John Ensminger - drums * Jeff Siegel - keyboards * Matt Rippetoe - horns Straight outta Baltimore, baby. |

Woah, hold up. I was being sarcastic in asking if he was serious. Meaning, "duh...I know it's not Patton". I've been a Patton fanboy since the early 90s, I'm very well aware that it's not Mike Patton. If it was, I'd have been listening to this band since their first album. :)

I don't know. I can definitely tell a difference between Dog Fashion and any Mike Patton project. If we want to talk about Patton mimics, lets talk about Incubus.
