the clash didnt make either of your lists?
One of the most influential bands of all time in my eyes, in the same categorie as Led Zepplin or Black Sabbath, so many bands have them to thank. |

I don't listen to 60's rock....or 70's
80's The Clash The Ramones In Flames Still Life Slayer 90's UnderOATH (David, blow me. I like them. Alot) Nightwish Converge Rise Against (i can back this one up. Almost every band in the "punk" scene that got started after 95' draws DIRECTLY from them) ZAO 00's Symphony In Peril Comeback Kid Borknagar (although they might have formed in 1999) Dead To Fall The Crimson Divine (love this band)

You know, it's almost impossible to do this when you were practically born yesterday (1989). Since I'm not really into much older stuff (especially not 70s), I can't possibly pick just 5 artists from the 90s and the 00s. All of my music knowledge falls into those two decades! :\ Maybe in 30 years...
