Who's the Better guitarist?
Iknow is an obvious one but hey f*ck it. I would go for Joe Satriani cos Vai playing is very experimental and spacey at times i would actually rather listen to his live recordings than studio recordings. and I fing yngwie to be way over the top and seriously chessy (honestly if you were Lactosintolerant you would die listening to his stuff) plus his over all arrogants really bugs me. But Satriani he has a great sense of groove and tone to his playing (listen to satch boogie and you'll see what i mean) and he is probably the most accessible out of all three.

Vai but i'd rathr listen to satch, malmstein can be sloppy and he hides it with overdrive....plus everything he writes is the same...i just dont like it, and he's overweight lets not forget. :p
So yeah i'd rather mystical potato head groove thing to white powder anyday, but for sheer ability to blow me away by standards vai. |

All three of these guitarists are really lame, I don't see the hype but whatever.
I'll download a song by each of them if you give me a song title to download, then I shall choose. |
Although all three are incredibly talented, I would have to say Satriani. Vais' stuff I can't listen to because although it's fast and impressive, it's has no melody. Satriani I could listen to (and make guitar noises happily to myself to) all day!!

Satriani.
And when there are 3 choice, it should be "who is the best guitarist." Simpletons. |
Personally, Satch does it for me.
Vai is indeed a genius, but I prefer Satchmo's sound. And Yngwie is just fat and has a stupid name. But he can still shred. |
Eddie Van Halen

If this was the only choice I had in listening to guitarists i'd spend the rest of my life listening to pan pipes albums.
