I really appreciate those guitarists as instrumentalists but as musicians they just don't seem fit. Too much technicality, while appropriate in cases, just gets old after a couple songs.

While all three guys are technically proficient-they bore the arse off me with their endless noodling.
David Gilmour is nowhere as technically good as those guys-but his sound is unique-it touches my soul every time that guy plays. |
