Obviously hes not as great as those.
But experiementation is good, and prefering it over structure isnt a bad thing... Look at Sonic Youth, Godspeed You Black Emperor, Captain Beefheart, The Residents, etc. |

Oh, well in that case I 100% agree with you.
I feel solo's should have structure, not neccesarilly songs (however GYBE kinda does, in a very broad sense)
