I agree-Tom Morello was a good guitarist, but some of his solo's were just effects...

So?... Page, Gilmour, May, Hazel, Clapton, Hendrix... They all used a lot of effects.

But not to the same effect. Morello is a great guitarist, but he was more concerned with experimentation than structure. I wouldn't put him in the same catagory.
