Desaparecidos
Theres a thread on them in the indie forum (made by spinning<3) but people here should check them out also.
I have Read Music/Speak Spanish if anyone wants it, they're kind of punkish? but more slowed down. Their lyrics are political/social issues mostly, its good stuff. I would list their lineup but that would instantly turn everyone off. Recommendations: Man and Wife, The Former (Financial Planning) Man and Wife, The Latter (Damaged Goods) Greater Omaha Mall Of America The Happiest Place on Earth bold = best ones. |
Financial Planning is pretty damn solid. I'm going to have a listen to Damaged goods too.
|
If I was a fan of punk music I may like it, but I am not a fan of punk. Also I feel like the singer is reallllly bad. Damaged Goods was the song I heard and I feel like I heard the sound somewhere else. Don't know where, but I fell like I heard it. The song gets a bit better towards the end.

I've got Read Music Speak Spanish, and it was fairly good. Though still nothing that stood out for me, but very enjoyable.

Fairly good band.

Read Music/Speak Spanish is really good. |
Mall of America is my favourite song. It was funny, i was watching this interview of these guys and they were talking about how conor had other bands. And he was like, "yeah, i have this band that i care way more about called bright eyes."...i thought that was pretty funny.
|
Not bad, I kind of like them
|
love bright eyes and im oh so very glad oberst made it is his priority over this second rate 'punk' band.
