If u ever feel lonely, then you probably don't know yourself well enough. I cherish the moments I'm alone, and around people, well generally not. It seems like u hav to wear a mask to fit into this world. Me, being the person that makes me most comfortable doesn't seem to fit into this world as well. I'm curious as to how not being myself can seem to make more people comfortable, and leaves me feeling worse at the end of the day. Anyway, anyone who reads this and knows what I'm talking about, it's cool to b alone, when combined w/ meditation and spirituality it's the best way to get to know yourself.

This is the single worst post I have ever seen.

Tool is boring. Listen to better "progressive" rock please.

Year Zero's great. Their best since The Downward Spiral, IMO.

I always laugh when one tells somebody to stop listening to something based on THE FORMER finding it boring...

I respect Trent Reznor greatly as an artist and believe that he's just the right person to make the music he makes and present the message that he presents. Does this mean that I find his body of work in it's entirety to be flawless? No. It does, however, mean that I have a healthy appreciation for it both as a fan of Reznor's and a fan of Industrial music as a whole.

Don't get me wrong, I definitely respect the guy and his artistic vision.

Speaking of Reznor, I never thought I'd find myself saying this but, at least as far as the first few tracks are concerned (haven't yet listened properly to the rest), Year Zero seems a pretty damn good album - perhaps even rivalling Downward Spiral.

Any thoughts?

Certainly, tracks such as My Violent Heart were a throw-back to Spiral. =)

This post is the single worst thing that has ever existed in the world, and the solar system, and this galaxy.........and yeah, the universe.

Their new stuff, I'm kind of getting used to, but their music has never appealed to me right off the bat. It always grows on me, especially The Downward Spiral.

NIN HAD some good stuff, I especially liked a lot of the songs on Fragile, but I will happily agree that the downward spiral was excellent. The backround story on its production is too.

Tool may have a consistant sound that rarely changes, but it is a progressive sound in my opinion. And they do have their own sound. Unlike say Marillion or IQ. Who are retro prog all the way.

Anyway I love early NIN. The Downward Spiral is one of my favorite 90s albums.
