Download 2007
 

I made a topic about Download 2006 last year, so I thought i'd do the same this year.
Anyone seen this years line up? Slayer, Maiden, Manson, Bring me the Horizon, Linkin Park and My Chemical Romance all confirmed. Personally I think this line up, with the acception of Slayer, is pathetic. I mean compared to the line up last year, which was probably the best line up of all the Donnington Festivals to date, it's not cutting it. It's ment to be one of the greatest metal festival's in England, and they have My Chemical Romance headlining Friday night, instead of Slayer, it just doesn't make sense. Any one else's views on this years lineup/festival?

Slayer and Maiden ROCK! But as for the rest, I"d soon not bother.

Meh...not really arsed about Maiden...Ive already seen them once, Slayer id love to see...But not willing to pay the money just too see them, unlike Metallica, like last year, when everyone else I saw was just a bonus

I still think (with the exeptions of Dimmu Borgir, Lamb Of God and Slayer) it's a pretty poor line-up. I may consider going just because Dimmu Borgir are on my must see before I die list

Slayer and Wolfmother would be the only two bands I could tolerate there. Definitely not a creme of the crop lineup.

Download is Europe, am I correct? And wasnt Cradle of Filth on last year?

what a **** line up this year, i watched metallica from side of stage where they kept james hetfields guitars my dads mate has worked for metallica for 20years big mick sound guy.I was just a few feet away from james ****ing great night.

I wouldn't pay more than $5 for that crap.
