Haha, well i wanted to see what people thought about the whole lifestyle of the rock and metal.....not just the music part...and im thinking this guy just really likes to argue!

It's just another ploy to reach in your pocket and make one think they're special and different and they're really not. I'm all for good music and everything but I don't think there's some common thread or anything like that.

QFT - very true.

Like the other person said, music shouldn't define you. If it does, that means you're probably close minded to other styles of music.

Why do people think you have to be what you listen to? Music should become a part of you, not define the whole of you. To be honest if you think any style of music should be a lifestyle you're a bit of a 2D person.
