Consistently released solid albums throughout their entire career and still going strong. Probably one of the best bands in history.

I think Bruce is the better vocalist all around, but I love their self titled so much that I want to say Paul.

Aye from a technical point of view Bruce is far better but Paul did the killers album, my favourite album by a long shot.

I love their first 2 albums with Di`anno anything after that doesn`t really get a listen.
Powerslave was the last thing they did that I can listen to , after that they became a bit too slick & muso like. I missed the raw edges they used to have.

And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that.

The first metal band I heard, Number of the Beast being my first metal album.

Not only are Maiden good, they also influenced a whole genre of metal, that I love. Power Metal has remained my favorite genre (although I listen to everything, actually), and Iron Maiden are the innovators.

Up the Irons!!
