Think I am going to start digging deeper into Iron Maiden. Listened to "The Soundhouse Tapes" the other day and thought I should chip through their discography.

Wish I would have went to see Paul Di'Anno when he played here last year.

Bruce Dickinson is quite an amazing singer. Here's a random clip with him with Ian Anderson(Jethro Tull) doing some old folk song. It's shockingly good:

Dustin Hoffman and John Travolta declined the role for the same reason. When Al Pacino was considered for the role of John Rambo, he turned it down when his request that Rambo be more of a madman was rejected.

^^Bruce Dickinson is a very underrated writer as well

people may mock his books but i feel he's highly literate for a rock star

Does anyone have the Kerrang! 2008 Tribute Disc? I'm looking to grab a few tracks from it.

I actually got a lend of that off someone, ripped it and ended up deleting nearly all of it. The best thing on it is Gallows' cover of 'Wrathchild' which isn't really saying much, but there was some dreadful stuff on it like Dream Theater's 'To Tame a Land'.

I'm listening to A Matter of Life and Death again after a long while. I still think it's an absolutely fantastic album.

^Probably one of my favorites off the entire album. With The Legacy following close behind.

Probably the best later day Maiden album, I loved it when I first heard it.
